Dr. Patricia Ruiz de Nunez, DMD, is a dedicated General Dentist who earned her DDS from the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo in 2013 and went on to complete her DMD at Boston University, Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, in 2024. With four years of clinical experience in general dentistry, Dr. Ruiz de Nunez has honed her skills in diagnosing dental conditions, and she is especially passionate about serving the underserved community.
Before becoming a dentist, Dr. Ruiz de Nunez worked as a General Dentist in the Dominican Republic. After relocating to the United States, she worked as a dental office manager before being accepted into dental school, where she ultimately graduated with honors from both of her institutions. This diverse background has shaped her comprehensive approach to patient care.
Dr. Ruiz de Nunez is excited to be working at FCHC because it allows her to serve a broader population of patients and make a meaningful impact on their dental health. She believes that FCHC’s commitment to providing affordable and high-quality care makes it an excellent choice for those seeking dental services.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Ruiz de Nunez enjoys hiking and walking, and she cherishes spending time with her family, including her daughter, Jade Santana Ruiz, her son, Jaden Ruiz, and her husband, Michael Dominguez. She is deeply committed to helping others, especially children, and aspires to become specialized in pediatric dentistry. Her long-term goal is to pursue a master’s in public health to further contribute to improving community health.
Her guiding mantra in life is, “Everything will be all right,” a reminder that challenges can be overcome with persistence and faith.
